Director / Founder
David founded DK Lyon Electrical in 1977, performing electrical work for domestic clients and real estate agents in the Northern suburbs of Sydney. In 1994, DK Lyon Electrical became Lyon Technics Ltd and David continued to grow the business and perform electrical works. David continues to be involved in the business as the founder and enjoys watching the business continue to grow.
Managing Director / CEO
After 10 years’ prior experience in electrical contracting, Steven Lyon joined the Lyon Technics team in 1997 and was appointed as a Director. Steven’s area of expertise these days is leading the business into the next stage of growth with the implementation of systems and tools to provide clients with the best results. Steven always offers cost-effective solutions to improve facility maintenance strategy. His excellent client relationship skills and proactive approach have helped Lyon Technics grow into one of the leaders in the industry.
Director / Manager
Luke Lyon joined the family business in 1999 as first year apprentice, which saw him gain a vast amount of knowledge in electrical contracting and business operations. Once Luke obtained his electrical licence, he was made Project Manager before being appointed as a Director in 2013. Luke continues to manage and perform Lyon Technics’ electrical project works and maintenance work and is responsible for making sure clients are equipped with the most up-to-date technology.
Joining in 2010, Kathleen brings 20 years of corporate experience to Lyon Technics. Kathleen manages and delivers mid- to high-level accounts, admin and operations for the business; her knowledge in these areas has been an integral part of Lyon Technics’ evolution over the years.
Sydney Service and Installation Manager
In 2012, Glen joined the Lyon Technics team with over 25 years of experience in servicing, managing and installations of mid-to-high level electrical contracts. Glen continues to deliver expert solutions to our clients in the corporate commercial, industrial and high-end domestic spaces throughout the greater Sydney region.
Central Coast, Newcastle Services and Installation Manager
Liam joined the team in 2018 bringing with him more than 11 years of experience as an electrician. Liam’s responsible for the providing expert electrical solutions to our commercial, industrial and domestic clients in the greater Central Coast and Newcastle areas.
Our Extended Team
Our team of service managers, techs and apprentices are always friendly and ready to go the extra mile for our clients. All our managers and techs are fully licenced and hold additional qualifications, such as electrical and communication licences, working at heights, WHS accreditation, Working With Children and Police Checks.
